Mecaprom srl (www.mecaprom.com) is looking for a technical partner for the following task:

“Mechanical design of an surface Permanent magnet e-motor for in-wheel-motor applications with stator and rotor interfaces”.

The scope of the activity is:

  • Development of a mechanical 3D model of a 15 inch-rim motor-in-wheel prototype
    according to the maximum radial and axial clearance available inside rim and integrating
    an automotive production wheel hub bearing and disc brake.
  • Design of the construction 2D drawing according to the 3D inch-rim motor-in-wheel
    model.
  • Modular design to adapt to different suspension mountings.

 

The activity is carried out within the European LIFE-SAVE Project (Solar Aided Vehicle Electrification, LIFE16 ENV / IT / 000442), funded by the European Commission within the LIFE Programme.

Mecaprom srl (www.mecaprom.com) is looking for a technical partner for the following task:

“Electromagnetic design of an surface Permanent magnet and motor for in-wheel-motor applications, scaling from actual design with electromagnetic dimensioning and geometrical adaptation”.

The purpose of the activity is:

  • Development and caliber of an electromagnetic mathematical model on an existing prototype of a 17-inch motorized wheel. The model will be analytical and 2nd FEM.
  • Design of an electromagnetic structure (external radial flow rotor) for a 15-inch motorized wheel in order to maximize the available torque depending on the maximum axial clearance within the diameter. Particular attention will be used to reduce losses due to eddy currents and the related increase in frequencies to reduce noise pollution.
  • Scaling the design of a new 15 inch motorized wheel to apply it to a 13.17 inch model.
  • Evaluation of the performances obtainable in case of liquid cooling.

eProInn srl (www.eproinn.com) is looking for a scientific and technical partner for the following task:

“R&D support in simulation modelling and tests on human vehicles interface and control system”.

The scope of the activity is the assistance in development and validation of mathematical models for model based control of a solar-hybridized vehicle. The models, to be implemented in Matlab/Simulink environment, will describe both longitudinal and lateral dynamics and driver behaviour for a car powered by an internal combustion engine and hybridized by means of electrical wheel motors.

The models must be integrated with optimization procedures in order to determine optimal and sub-optimal control strategies for real-time applications.

The activity is carried out within the European Project LIFE-SAVE (Solar Aided Vehicle Electrification, LIFE16 ENV/IT/000442), financed by European Commission within the LIFE Programme (http://ec.europa.eu/environment/life/).
